Golden Gate Cellos is divided into two ensembles. Each ensemble or “cello choir” is comprised of eight to ten cellists varying in levels. Students will prepare masterpieces and pop songs to make a positive impact in surrounding Bay Area communities. Led by renowned cellist Jonathan Koh, students will take part in various projects and have opportunities to learn from some of the best concert cellists and pedagogues in the classical music world.
